For the Valdemar and Roar Gas lift project, Bezemer Dordrecht went approximately 250 kilometres offshore Esbjerg, in Denmark. Here we were asked to support the installation of two riser caissons on the Valdemar & Roar platforms.  

For this project, we rented out two of our CLI 210 linear winches. This winch-type was selected due to its small size and low weight, which was required since platform cranes had only very limited capacity. The winch is very moveable but still has a pulling capacity of 100 tonnes. 

The photos of this project show the winches in their relatively small spaces on the platforms performing the two riser caisson installations.
