The advantages of a twin engine diesel driven winch
The C1100 is a continuous linear winch with 500 metric tonne pull capacity. The C1100, is relatively small for a 500MTon winch, allowing it to be easily integrated into your project site without taking up too much room.
The winch, designed by Bezemer, was originally produced to perform a J-tube pull-in on the Norwegian “Troll A” platform. Nowadays, the winch has been supporting various projects, and as a pulling winch, the C1100 has performed pipe pulls for landfalls all over the world.
The linear winch is supported by a containerized twin engine diesel driven power unit, making the power unit fully redundant, providing added reliability.
