Task description

The Bezemer equipment is leased to various customers worldwide. After the completion of a rental order, all equipment is returned to our maintenance facility in Dordrecht.  To keep the equipment at the highest operational standard, here it is maintained. A small team of operators and mechanics perform the preventive and corrective maintenance which is necessary to prepare the equipment for the next rental order. In order to complement our maintenance  team we are looking for winch operators and mechanics.

Job requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on the equipment in the workshop or abroad at the client location.
• Assemble, Operate and disassemble the equipment during a rental period at the client location.

Personal specifications:

Knowledge & Experience:  

• Secondary technical school  or equivalent;
• Training in diesel technique;
• Training in hydraulic technique;
• Experience in the off-shore and dredging industry.

 Skills:

• Hands on experience  with hydraulic systems  and components;
• Hands on experience  with diesel engines and components ;
•  Fluent English in speech and writing.

 Qualities:

•  Self motivated with good attention to detail; 
• Ability to use own initiative but also able to  work well in  a team;
• Willingly to travel abroad;
• Can work under pressure, set and achieve deadlines;
• Quality awareness;
• Safety awareness.
